How many times do I need to see Dr. Belt ?

Dr Belt will see you personally for two consultations prior to performing any cosmetic surgical procedure.  Each consultation will last approximately thirty minutes. You are welcome to attend more consultations if you need more time or information before deciding on your operation.
 
Usually only one consultation is required for non-cosmetic /aesthetic procedures.

How much does it cost to see Dr. Belt?

The fee for the first consultation is $100.00. If you have a GP’s referral you will receive $64.30 back from Medicare. There is no additional fee for the subsequent consultations.

Rebates may not be available for certain purely cosmetic procedures. Please contact Dr Belt's rooms on 07 3852 6800, if you would like clarification.

What costs are involved ?

The costs involved will differ depending on each procedure. The costs may include :
 
Dr Belt’s surgical fee
 
Theatre fee / day bed, and overnight bed if not a day case
 
Specialist anaesthetist's fee
 
Cost of implants / prostheses required
 
Costs of tailor made garments ( e.g. sports bra for breast augmentation, support garment for abdominoplasty)
 
Assistant’s fee (larger cases only)
