Arm Reduction

This is a procedure used to remove the excessive “bat’s wing” deformity. This may be a result of massive weight loss. The technique employs an incision running along the inner upper arm with a zig zag extension into the armpit.

A pre determined amount of skin and fat is excised. The skin is re draped and closed so that the scar will lie in the inner part of the arm where it is less noticeable.
